Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. She was raised in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. At the age of 18 she moved to New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She quickly became part of the scene of clubs in New York. Her shows were so impressive that the local press took note. In the end, she utilized her education and fame to write and compose a musical called Positive Me as well as to appear in it. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV quickly became her new assignment. Once it went off the air, she was able to appear in television and film productions beginning in roles of a short duration before establishing herself as an actress.
