Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban and American television arbitrator ever since Caso Cerrado. Ana was lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. Then she moved to Miami along with her family at age two after moving out of Havana. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of renowned Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. The show was ranked in 2015 as the most popular Spanish-language programming on the air at 4pm in important demos. Polo, born on April 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Sciences. She then earned the PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty decades in Miami. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was first introduced to the public via television in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other shows on courts where her legal expertise was tapped. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958 she published the story Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in the year 1960. Polo also a breast cancer patient and cancer survivor, is often quoted about the cause she is fighting. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights for a long time. She is a 1987 graduate from the University of Miami School of Law as well as a Florida Bar member.
